Comedians Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh will be joined by an illustrious wine expert to guide you through tasting five wines and at least five jokes.

Everyone from savvy sauvignon swiggers to clueless chardonnay chuggers will find something to make their glass half-full, as the wine industry's hardest-hitting questions are answered… How far should I extend my pinky when sipping? What the heck is a tannin? And who’s parked in the loading bay - you’re about to be towed?

Ethan Cavanagh & Sweeney Preston

Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh are two of Melbourne’s fastest-rising and extravagantly overdressed comedians currently touring the world and all corners of Australia.

After taking home the Best in Category Eat and Drink Award at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe - the world’s second-largest arts festival, and a Weekly Best Comedy Award at the Perth Fringe, the pair were invited to bring their comedy wine tasting antics abroad to England’s iconic Latitude Festival as well as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where the show enjoyed two consecutive sold out seasons in 2024 and 2025.

Between them, they have performed internationally in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Japan, the USA, Canada, Indonesia, South Africa and New Zealand and all corners of Australia, including shows at eight consecutive Melbourne International Comedy Festivals.

Since then, she’s earned her International Sommelier Guild diploma and three Court of Master Sommeliers pins (all on her first attempts) and has gone on to mentor peers and shape wine programs for West Coast icons like Canlis and Spago Beverly Hills. Now based in Las Vegas, Rina brings her expertise, intuition, and hospitality — seasoned with irreverent charm — to her work at Carbone.

Beyond the spotlight, his WSET Level 2 Wine Certification reflects a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and stories behind each bottle. From jazz performances paired with curated wine tastings to intimate events celebrating both art forms, Sean creates experiences that engage all the senses.

Accessibility Vehicle Drop Off is located across from the Aria hotel, and customers can be dropped off at the Level 2 entrance at the Aria drop off.

The Shops at Crystals is proud to provide exceptional accessibility throughout the entire center, including The Crystals Valet and at each center entrance. As the exhibit is on the third floor, patrons must take the elevator up or down to this level.
